We were there for 3 days, everything was very good, really enjoyed its absolutely perfect location so close to the Gran Via within a short distance of the Porta del Sol, sightseeing locations and Sol and downtown.
The staff were quite busy, didn't expect that coming.

bed was very comfortable and views of the Gran Via in Madrid were spectacular. bathroom was great, little uncomfortable because there was a column in the middle of the bathroom but very big. room is big and comfortable and with a giant wardrobe.
The staff at the reception (I don't remember the name but it was a gentleman) was chatting away when we arrived and seemed more interested in talking than attending to us. However, the next morning we were attended by a woman and she was very correct and kind (it is only fair not to underestimate all the staff). The room was fine, however, some of the furniture was worn out. In the bathroom, I didn't like that there were no amenities, and that the hand soap and gel were in a jar; it's a very expensive hotel for this kind of detail. And that's what caught my attention, the exorbitant price for some qualities that could be improved, because it gives the impression that the hotel chain wants to earn as much money as possible and is neglecting some details, that if it did not cost what the room costs, I would not mention them, but given the price I think it is necessary to mention it.

Excellent location: right in the Chueca nightlife area but without the noise, some rooms with view on the beautiful Gran Via.
Breakfast was good but I think 14 euros per person is too expensive. The nearest public parking is about 200 meters walking distance (and costs 29 euros per 24hrs!). Since the hotel is in a street for pedestrians only, you cannot even park your car at the front door for 1 single minute to unload your baggage. Some people don't like the fact that there is a prostitution street right around the corner, but that really doesn't cause any problems or noise at all.

Lovely hotel. Booked the Premium Room which was fairly priced compared to most european hotels. Had room 308 and 208 booked which are the corner rooms with a fantactic view of the main street. Could not fault the room. A little noisy but saying that, it was a national holiday in Spain that day.

The very freindly and helpful staff. We asked several questions and staff was very friendly and willing to assist
The price. It was too high and in our 6 night stay, it fluctuaued quite a bit from day to day. Not sure I would go back at these prices. A single person in our group had a single room and it was really small, too small !!! Also, there was no a/c operating ( In April)so if you wanted cool air had to sleep with the windows open. If you get a room facing the main ave, Gran Via, then you had to deal with the noise from the street. We had to ask for another room afetr the 1st night. Staff very helpful

The atmosphere created was quiet. We ate in the chic restaurant at the 7th and 8th floor which was well priced. It had an incredibly large bed, an electronic key card, a work desk and satellite television.

Perfect for couples seeking a getaway
The staff were friendly, always ready with a smile. One nice detail was when they surprised me with a birthday cake for my niece, it was a nice touch.
It wasn't inexpensive but still acceptable.
